Interview Vol. 1 Issue 1 - Vietnam

The first issue of Interview features excerpts from an interview I did with Ret. Colonel W. G. Campbell Jr. (my father) about his experiences serving in the Vietnam War.

I did the interview for a college class in Vietnam Literature, and found it again last year. His insights are so thoughtful and relevant that I decided to put it in a zine to share with others. I re-transcribed the tapes and collaborated with my dad to edit down the text. (You can read more about my creative process for this project on my blog.)

I am donating proceeds from this zine to anysoldier.com, a non-profit organization that assists military personnel stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

About Interview

I love asking people questions and finding out how or why they do certain things (yes, I am naturally nosy). I created Interview Zine to explore interviews with people who have gone through or done extraordinary things.

I intend to publish 2 - 3 issues per year and donate the funds to a related charity.
